Canvs is a consultancy built for public purpose. We help UK government departments and agencies design operating models, recover critical programmes and launch services that citizens can trust.

Good strategy stalls without delivery. Fast delivery stalls without a clear mission. We fix that with senior attention, fast artefacts and capability that lasts.

Our story

We did not set out to build a consultancy. We set out to fix a problem we kept running into.

In large programmes we watched good strategy stall. In busy delivery teams we watched people work hard without a clear mission. Everyone cared. Everyone was capable. The system still lost time.

The moment that changed things for us was a national launch that could not miss its window. The technology team was confident. Operations were behind. We spent a week with leaders from policy, digital, testing and operations. We wrote one page that named the decisions that mattered, who made them and how we would measure progress. We set a weekly decision rhythm. We built a cutover playbook people actually used. It launched on time. Hypercare was calm. The team kept the rhythm after we left.

That experience shaped Canvs. Tier-1 rigour where it helps, boutique attention where it counts and a promise to leave capability behind. We aim to reduce meetings, increase decision clarity and make progress visible so leaders can commit to dates with confidence.
